A student should always set his goals he wants to achieve, you can call them Study Goals. That may be their career goal or intermediate goals. Every student aims something in life, he/she wants to reach to. It is important to set a goal for a good future. Once we choose a destination we can find many ways to reach the summit. So it is important to set a goal, if you don’t you may be easily get wandered.

Here we will talk about how you can set study goals. I’m not talking about the career goal, that one is a long-term goal; it is about intermediate goals one should set during studies. Suppose a student has to study a subject for exam which is 30 days from now, it is Mid-term goal. He needs to make a strategy and certain daily targets so that he can finish it in time. He has to decide the time to be given to each lesson or topic to complete the whole syllabus a week before the exam. The last week should be for revision purpose only. While getting ready for studies you must provide some time for a strategy that can help you achieve you daily target, these are the Short-term goals. You can make a day schedule and write down the activities to be performed on that day.

A lesson wise plan, eating time, recreation time, break time will collectively improve his grades. It will reduce the wastage of time, which is very important.

  • Benefits of setting Study Goals

You can think about a numerous benefits of setting goals in studies. The most important thing is Increased Productivity means more output in the same time. If you have a schedule for a day and you have achieved 90% of it it means you are on the right track. But make a strict schedule and follow it strictly, no one is going to watch your back what you have done in that schedule. It is your responsibility to take care of yourself, your exams, your time and other stuff. If you follow your schedule you will be filled with confidence and your mind will remain relaxed for next challenge. Take out time for everything you like whether to play, listen to music etc, but try to stick to your routine.

You can also use the same trick to complete your exam in time. You can take as many Past Papers and practice them to finish in time. This trick will teach you the best use of resources.
